A catsuit worn on stage by Dua Lipa, a guitar played in concert by Jon Bon Jovi and a skateboard signed by Olivia Rodrigo are among the musical treasures set to be auctioned off Sunday for charity by Julien’s Auctions.
On Monday, the auction house and the music industry charity organization MusiCares revealed a new lot of musical treasures set to be sold off in conjunction with Sunday’s 66th annual Grammy Awards from Los Angeles.
The custom-made gold ‘Illusion’ catsuit, which comes with elbow-length gloves, is a Casey Cadwallader for Mugler creation the 28-year-old songstress wore during multiple stops as part of her Future Nostalgia tour in the fall of 2022.
Dua Lipa had been pictured wearing the ensemble during a September 8th, 2022 show in São Paulo, Brazil, as well as a September 13, 2022 show in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The custom bodysuit is estimated to sell for between $4,000 – $6,000, according to Julien’s, which said it ‘took over 1,160 cumulative hours to complete and is all over embroidered with 120,000 crystals.’

The bodysuit features ‘a boned bodice with overall spiral sheer tulle panels and matching gloves,’ as the ‘spiral-like sheer splices are the brand’s signature design under Cadwallader’s creative direction.’
The auction also includes multiple items from famed recording artist Jon Bon Jovi, who is being honored as MusiCares Person of the Year 2024.
The highest-estimated item from Bon Jovi is a stage-played 2018 Takamine EF341SC acoustic guitar, with a gloss black finish with Mahogany neck. It comes with a guitar case with custom picks and a black Dunlop guitar strap.
The guitar, which Bon Jovi played in his music video for Story of Love, is expected to sell for between $10,000-$15,000.
The lot of items from the Blaze of Glory artist also includes an custom black amplifier road case with Bon Jovi Heart & Dagger logo stenciled on the side, along with the phrases Stage Left and BB-6.
The item, which is expected to sell for between $800-$1,200, comes with a foam lined case including a number of cargo stickers and a yellow tape label, according to organizers.
Another item in the lot is a road-worn custom black amplifier road case on casters, with plates mounted on each side reading R & R Cases, organizers said. It comes with a foam lined case that is stenciled with the phrases Jon Bon Jovi and 33, and expected to sell for $1,000-$1,500.
The lot includes autographed XOUNTS sound systems, estimated at $1,000 – $1,500; JBL in-ear monitors valued between $300-$500; and sheet music to the 1992 Bon Jovi single Bed of Roses, along with a set of maracas, in a package valued between $400-$600.

Also hitting the auction block is a Kingswell skate shop brand ‘Brutal’ skate deck Rodrigo signed in two places.
The Grammy-winning artist featured the skateboard – which is projected to sell for between $500-$700 – in the music video for her 2023 single bad idea right? from her album GUTS.
The singer is nominated for six awards for her work at Sunday’s Grammys.
The auction includes multiple items donated by iconic Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks. According to organizers, they include an autographed copy of her 1981 iconic solo album Bella Donna expected to sell for between $300 – $500.
The album, which includes the hits Edge of Seventeen and Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around (with the late Tom Petty) is inscribed with the phrase ‘Much Love.’
Nicks also donated a signed compilation record album box set Stand Back: 1981-2017 (5 LPs) on which she inscribed the phrases Much Love on the cover and Love Always on the insert. It’s estimated to sell for $300 – $500.

Bad to the Bone artist George Thorogood donated a signed limited edition White Fang ES-125 TDC Guitar in white finish, organizers said. The model was one of 1,200 guitars that was sold out in a limited-run offering, with the musical artist’s signature on it.
The guitar, which is an homage to Thorogood’s prized vintage ES-125, is expected to sell for $2,000-$3,000.

Autograph enthusiasts will be interested in a 2019 Gibson Les Paul Special Tribute Humbucker guitar in satin white finish that organizers said was signed by artists who performed at MusiCares 2020 Person of The Year celebration. The guitar is estimated to sell for $2,000-$3,000.
Among the musical stars who signed the guitar include late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, and his bandmate Dave Grohl; Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Joey Kramer and Brad Whitford; John Legend; Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas; Melissa Etheridge; Alice Cooper; LeAnn Rimes; and Sammy Hagar, among others.
The auction will be held live for the first time ever at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles and online on Julien’s website, the organizations said. Session one of the auction will take place February 4 beginning at 12 p.m. PT, according to organizers.
According to event organizers, the auction will be livestreamed via their respective websites in addition to YouTube, Facebook and Instagram Live. The event will be broadcast in a multi-camera shoot directed by Emmy-nominated director Jerry Foley, who past worked on the Late Show with David Letterman.
Proceeds from the auction will be forwarded to MusiCares, which ‘provides the music community a support system of health and human services across a spectrum of needs including physical and mental health, addiction recovery, unforeseen personal emergencies and disaster relief,’ according to the organizations.
Julien’s Auctions co-founder and executive director Martin Nolan said in a statement earlier this month: ‘During this special time of year, we look forward to presenting with our esteemed partner MusiCares some of the biggest and best pieces of music memorabilia at our annual charity initiative that celebrates our universal love of music and the arts while furthering a good cause.’
