Taylor Swift sent her fans into meltdown recently when she made a particular hand gesture during one of her concerts at the Rogers Center in Toronto, Canada.
The 34-year-old singer, who is thought to have spent Thanksgiving with boyfriend Travis Kelce, was performing her track Midnight Rain as part of her Eras Tour when she used her fingers to apparently send a message to her followers.
Taylor usually strikes a different pose after singing the lyrics: ‘And he never thinks of me, except when I’m on TV,’ but on this occasion she held her hand up and counted down with her fingers from five to four.
And then during the next show, she did the same gesture but this time she counted down from four to three, with one concert-goer catching the moment on camera and sharing it on TikTok.
Fans were quick to comment on the post and started to speculate about what the hand gesture could mean.
‘She’s plotting something,’ one person wrote, while a second admitted: ‘She’s literally killing me.’
A third person commented: ‘I am convinced that something is coming on 13th of December,’ as another fan pointed out: ‘It’s her birthday and it’s a Friday and there were Easter eggs.’
Someone else referenced a potential new album and wrote: ‘OMG I AM 1000000000000% CONVINCED REP TV IS COMING.’

Another person said: ‘New album. Third album this year. She kept doing two fingers for TTPD.’
However, other fans didn’t read too much into it as one person suggested: ‘Mother is clowning us,’ and another said: ‘Nah she’ll have us all excited and it will just be a countdown to the last show.’
This comes just days after it was reported that fans are convinced that a Reputation (Taylor’s Version) album announcement is finally imminent.
Speculation amongst avid supporters swirled after the superstar performed a surprise triple-song mashup on the piano in another one of her shows at Toronto’s Rogers Centre.
Back in 2019, after music mogul Braun purchased the rights to Taylor’s master recordings from her first six albums, the singer announced that she would rerecord the albums in dispute.
Since 2021, she has released the re-recordings of 2008’s Fearless, 2010’s Speak Now, 2012’s Red, and 2014’s 1989.
To date, Taylor’s self-titled debut album and Reputation are the only two of the recordings not yet rerecorded.
In other Taylor news, the Shake It Off hitmaker received an apology from the music publication Billboard this week after it included footage of an infamous nude wax figure in her image in a video meant to celebrate her career.

The shocking display originally came to light when her longtime nemesis Kanye West, 47, used it and nude figures of other celebrities in his Famous music video.
Billboard was quickly beset by a wave of angry fan complaints.
‘We are deeply sorry to Taylor Swift and all of our readers and viewers that in a video celebrating Swift’s achievements, we included a clip that falsely depicted her,’ the publication wrote in an apology post shared on X (formerly Twitter) just after midnight on November 28.
‘We have removed the clip from our video and sincerely regret the harm we caused with this error.’
Notably, the shot has now been removed from the video tribute. It’s unclear how the inappropriate image made its way into Billboard’s career highlights reel.
