Philadelphia radio station Q102 announced it won’t play any Taylor Swift songs over the weekend, as the pop singer’s loyalty for Monday night’s mega football game between the Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs comes into question.
Swift was born in West Reading, Pennsylvania and was spotted this summer wearing an Eagles sweatshirt in New York City.
At one of her shows during The Eras Tour from Lincoln Financial Field in May, the home venue of the Eagles, Swift confidently said she was a fan of the franchise.
But her past statements didn’t save Swift from a temporary ban from Q102’s airwaves now that she’s dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
The embargo on ‘Love Story’, ‘Cruel Summer’, and other songs by Swift begins Friday and will be lifted Tuesday, after the game has taken place.

Swift has been romantically linked to Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce since September
Swift has been spotted in Chiefs gear on multiple occasions while attending Kelce’s games over the last two months.
Kelce flew to Argentina for one of Swift’s concert stops and was seen hanging out with Scott Swift, Taylor’s dad, at the show. Scott was wearing a Chiefs lanyard.
Swift also changed the lyrics to her song ‘Karma’ during one of the shows in Argentina to honor Kelce, which elicited a huge smile from the 34-year-old tight end.
The matchup between the Chiefs and Eagles is the biggest game of the NFL’s regular season thus far.
Kelce playing for the Chiefs has led some to question whether he’s converted Swift’s fandom
Swift is a Pennsylvania native and has shown on a few occasions she’s an Eagles fan
Philadelphia is an NFL-best 8-1, while the Chiefs are competing for the top spot in the AFC at 7-2.
The game is also a rematch from last season’s Super Bowl, which the Chiefs won 38-35 in February.
Both Andrea and Scott Swift, alongside Ed and Donna Kelce, the happy couple’s parents, are expected to be at Monday’s game in Kansas City.
Taylor Swift herself appearance at the game is unknown.
Kelce will have a big say in the game’s result, as will his older brother, Jason Kelce, who is an offensive lineman for the Eagles.
