Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman revealed that Taylor Swift told him how proud of him she was after he caught the Super Bowl-winning touchdown earlier this month.
Hardman ended the NFL season with his reception from Patrick Mahomes, crossing the end zone to win the Super Bowl over the 49ers in overtime.
He was mobbed by Mahomes, Swift’s boyfriend and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and many more having secured Kansas City’s second-consecutive NFL title.
Swift and Hardman hugged on the Allegiant Stadium turf soon after the 14-time Grammy winner’s reunion with Kelce on the field.
What the ‘Anti-Hero’ singer and Hardman discussed had been private until now, and included Hardman’s abilities as a magician.

‘I think she was like, “Good job, proud of you, good game. Like, man it was crazy,”‘ Hardman said this week.
Hardman added Swift brought up the time they met and the wide receiver did a magic trick with a deck of cards.
‘Every time she sees me, she talks about it,’ Hardman said on the ‘Pivot Podcast’. ‘So then she was like … “Your hands are magical,” or something. Like, “You (caught) the game-winning touchdown.” So that was kinda cool, [her] saying that.’
Hardman had three catches in the Super Bowl, including a 52-yard, first-half reception that brought Swift to her feet in awe from a luxury box.
