Olivia Newton-John was a bona fide Swiftie, according to her rep.
Michael Caprio, who represented the late star for over 25 years, said she would have been ‘tickled’ to see Taylor Swift’s resurfaced Grease photos from 2000, per his interview with TMZ on Friday.
Never-before-seen childhood snaps of Taylor playing Grease’s Sandy – the role made famous by Olivia in the 1978 film – were unveiled this week.
In them, the pop star, 34, wore a blonde wig and black top to sing You’re The One That I Want in the final scene of her school production of the hit musical.
Caprio claimed Olivia – who passed away in 2022 after a long battle with breast cancer – would have been a huge fan of Taylor’s reveal, as she ‘had the greatest respect for Taylor as an artist and she was a fan of her talent.’
