Taylor Swift fans were delighted as she revealed her upcoming new single Patient Zero on Tuesday, but some were disappointed with the song’s cover art.
The singer, 36, shared an image of herself leaning against a concrete wall while clad in a high-neck sleeveless dress, and internet users were quick to call out what appeared to be a Photoshop fail.
The ‘extra smooth’ snapshot made it hard to distinguish a contour between her underarm and side, prompting even her most devoted followers to name the mishap.
‘The Photoshop on Taylor Swift’s “Patient Zero” cover is horrendous… girl, you’re a billionaire, please get a professional photographer,’ one person scoffed on X.
‘I’m so sorry but why does the side of her look so poorly edited? It looks way over-airbrushed and almost AI,’ another said. ‘No shade, but they edited her armpit to HELL,’ one X user pointed out before declaring, ‘I love Taylor, by the way.’
The Daily Mail has reached out to a rep for Swift for comment.

Fans are now able to preorder three different $3.99 versions of the track, including acoustic and piano singles.
The shoot led fans to speculate that Swift’s single could be ‘a sister album to [her previous project] The Life of A Showgirl and it’s the death of a showgirl.’
Ahead of the announcement, fans speculated the update was a ‘plot twist,’ and would be ‘Taylor and Trav’s wedding photos behind the countdown.’
Others predicted Swift was set to release a deluxe version of her latest album, while many others said the three zeros signified angel numbers, signaling a ‘new beginning’ for the star.

Swift last showed up at the CMA in 2016, when she presented Garth Brooks with the award for Entertainer of the Year.
This year’s event will take place on November 18 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, hosted by Lainey Wilson.
