Travis Kelce reminisced on his elaborate proposal plan to Taylor Swift in brand new video released days after his Madison Square Garden blowout wedding to the pop icon.
Travis, 36, mentioned his new wife, also 36, in the season four finale episode of his New Heights podcast, which he hosts alongside brother Jason Kelce, 38.
He named Swift’s appearance on the show in August 2025 as one of his favorite memories from the season.
‘Ending this season with Tom Brady. Pretty epic. Starting it with Taylor. Pretty epic,’ he said at one point.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end also reflected on the day he proposed to Swift, which he said occurred after her podcast taping.
Travis recalls planning proposal during recording
‘During that recording, the entire time I’m planning like, I’m gonna ask this woman to marry me after this,’ he recalled.
‘Obviously, the beginning of it, with Taylor, is one I’ll remember forever,’ the newlywed reiterated.
Jason agreed that the record-breaking show was one to remember.
‘It was, by far, our most viewed episode of all time,’ he said before Travis added, ‘It was pretty fun.’
His brother then emphasized, ‘It was incredible,’ eliciting laughter from the younger NFL star.
Travis then asked his sibling to name his favorite season four memory, but the retired football player struggled to think of one.
‘What is even going to be comparable to the two you just named?’ he asked before an off-camera producer began rattling off a list of guests.
Podcast reportedly filmed before the wedding
Among them was his wife Kylie Kelce, whom he snubbed by replying, ‘I mean, I talk to her every day.’
Travis was quick to defend his sister-in-law, who married Jason in 2018, as he demanded, ‘Don’t you do that to Kylie. You should be lucky you get to talk to Kylie every day.’
It’s unclear when exactly the podcast was filmed, but People reports the episode was taped before the wedding.
As Kelce kept Swift busy in August 2025, a team descended on his home garden to stage the setting for his proposal, according to Page Six.
He hired the crew to set up while they were filming, so that he could ask the songstress for her hand in marriage immediately after.
Couple celebrate with around 1,000 wedding guests
‘Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,’ Swift and Kelce captioned a joint Instagram post announcing their engagement in September 2025.
The couple invited about 1,000 people to their blowout wedding celebration last week.
Swift’s close pals, including Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid, were on the guest list, as were most of Kelce’s teammates.
She first publicly spoke about her romance with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end in her 2023 Time Person of the Year interview.
At the time, she described herself and her then-boyfriend as ‘just two people supporting each other doing what we love.’
