Doting husband Travis Kelce has opened up on making his wife proud after she went viral celebrating his latest touchdown for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Kelce was on fire as his team moved to 2-0 with a big win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football, with the tight end scoring a touchdown to send Arrowhead into raptures.
As expected, NBC cameras immediately dialed in on Taylor Swift in the VIP suites, and she quickly went viral for pointing at her $1 million ring and screaming ‘that’s my husband.’
Fans have been eagerly awaiting Kelce’s response to the moment, and they got their answer on Wednesday’s edition of the New Heights podcast.
Speaking alongside his brother Jason as the pair watched the clip, Travis said: ‘Just doing my deed as a husband. Listen man, proud wife, baby. Gotta make my girl proud.’
Kelce Brothers React to Memes
The pair then went through a series of social media memes from the moment, chuckling loudly at some of their favorites.
‘The internet’s having a good old time with this [expletive],’ Travis joked, while Jason added: ‘These are awesome.’
In one, an X user had written: ‘My girl when the tour guide at the historical site says I asked very good questions.’
Another said: ‘My neurosurgeon breadwinner wife watching me shotgun my eleventh beer of the night.’
Kelce also took fans through the touchdown from his perspective, joking that he looked like a ‘fat old man’ as he dived in for the score.
‘You didn’t look like a fat old man the rest of the game,’ Jason told him, referencing a big night at Arrowhead that saw Kelce go 9 for 11 and 101 yards receiving.
Swift Announces New Music
Swift, meanwhile, has sent fans into meltdown herself this week, after announcing her plan to release new music to the world in the coming days.
She is revealing a new four-song expanded edition of her album, titled: ‘The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore,’ on Friday.
Kelce is now full steam ahead to Week 3 of the NFL season, when the Chiefs travel to Miami to play the Dolphins on Sunday.
It has been an impressive start to the season for Kansas City, who are once again proving themselves to be Super Bowl contenders.

The pop icon, 36, who wed NFL star Travis Kelce, also 36, in July, teased fans earlier today after her website launched a mysterious two-hour countdown.
When the clock struck 2pm ET, Swift revealed the cover artwork for her new single titled Patient Zero.
The CD mock-ups showed imagery from each of the versions being released on September 25.
But it was the ‘piano version’ snap that caused the biggest stir on social media.
The image saw the hitmaker wearing a ribbed gray vest as she sat against a background of a similar hue.
She wore her long blonde tresses loose and swept over one shoulder as she looked wistfully off to the side.
Swift rested her head on her left hand – with her engagement ring on full display.
