An unlucky Taylor Swift fan who paid an eye-watering sum for tickets to the pop star’s show in Melbourne earlier this month was left furious when she realised she had no view of the stage.
The sad Swiftie revealed she paid nearly $700 for the tickets, only for her view to be obstructed by a massive ‘tower’.
The woman said other attendees who travelled from Sydney were left in tears after paying the same amount for good seats, as well as airfares to travel interstate.
She said the group tried desperately to get help, but kept ‘getting passed on’ to other workers at the concert.
After missing out on the first few songs of the show, the fans eventually managed to track down a supervisor and were given a handful of tickets to seats on the other side of the stadium.

‘We missed more of the concert as we raced around to the new seats, and while we made the best of things, it definitely impacted our experience,’ she said.
The woman was also asked to hand out the extra tickets to the other fans affected, instead of staff members.
Another fan paid $800 for VIP tickets, only for her view to be obstructed by a crew and sound mix tent.
Taking to TikTok, the fan shared a video of the view from her seats which were in section M20 between rows G, H, and I of the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
‘POV: You pay $800 per ticket for VIP Taylor Swift tickets and you can’t see the stage,’ she wrote over the video.

The woman, who attended the concert with her sister, updated in the comment she was later moved and given a better view of the stage.
‘They moved us to another restricted area but thankfully better than our original view!’ she wrote.
