Taylor Swift was visibly peeved on Sunday when boyfriend Travis Kelce went tumbling in the endzone and appealed for a penalty in the second half of the Chiefs’ game against the Patriots.
Patrick Mahomes looked for Kelce in the back of the endzone early into the third quarter, with the score 14-10 to Kansas City, but amid pressure from a Patriots defender he fell to the ground instead of catching the pass. Moments before, Kelce saw the ball fall through his hands when trying to take another pass from Mahomes.
And as he called for a penalty, his girlfriend Swift was just as frustrated as he was, as she could be seen screaming ‘f***’ from her box seat on the FOX broadcast.
The pop megastar also appeared to say ‘I wanna see [the play] back’ after the drop moments before.
Kelce, who was also hit hard by the Patriots’ Kyle Dugger after the drop, failed to earn a penalty as Myles Bryant’s attempt to stop him from taking the catch was deemed legal just like Dugger’s.
