It was revealed earlier this year that Taylor Swift had broken up with her boyfriend of six-years Joe Alwyn.
But her longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff put the timeline of the split into question while promoting Swift’s Midnights bonus track You’re Losing Me — which fans believe is about Alwyn.
It is available on music streaming platforms for the first time and features telling lyrics like, ‘My heart won’t start anymore for you’ and ‘I wouldn’t marry me either.’
Antonoff produced the track and revealed Wednesday that it was recorded in December 2021 — a year and four months before the breakup was reported.
‘You’re losing me is out today,’ he announced on Instagram. ‘A very special track from the midnights sessions that’s finally streaming!’
Antonoff included a candid photo of Swift eating off her kitchen counter.
‘Written and recorded at home on 12/5/21 right after taylor ate these raisins.’
