The nominees for the 2024 Grammy Awards ceremony were announced on Friday morning.
And while unstoppable popstar Taylor Swift has bagged six nominations, including Song of the Year and Best Pop Performance, and SZA has dominated the awards with an impressive nine, only five Brits have received nominations.
Spanning across pop, rock, dance and alternative genres British artists Dua Lipa, Arctic Monkeys and Calvin Harris have been announced as nominees at the prestigious music awards.
British pop superstar Dua Lipa released the song of the summer with her hit Dance The Night from the Barbie blockbuster film.
And the singer, 28, who also starred in the film, is nominated for Song of the Year with the chart topper which reached number one in the UK charts back in August.

Meanwhile indie favourites Arctic Monkeys made their return to the music scene this year with the release of the seventh album The Car in October 2022.
In a successful year which saw the band tour the world and headline Glastonbury, despite a near miss after lead singer Alex Turner came down with laryngitis, the Sheffield lads have been nominated for Best Alternative Music Album.
Their lead single Body Paint has also been nominated for Best Alternative Music Performance, while they have also bagged a nomination for Best Rock Performance.
Scottish DJ Calvin Harris has been nominated for Best Pop Dance Recording with his track Miracle featuring Ellie Goulding.
The pals have worked together in the past with hits Outside and I Need Your Love and the duo have continued to nail another hit.
Singer-songwriter Fred Again has also bagged three nominations, including Best Dance/Electronic Music ALbum with his record Actual Life 3 (January 1 – September 9 2022).
His songs Strong and Rumble have also been nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Recording.

The final Brit in the line up, Labrinth has bagged a nomination for his song Never Felt So Alone featuring Billie Eilish.
The pair are nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for the track which featured in the Euphoria soundtrack for the second series of the HBO drama starring Zendaya.
SZA’s critically acclaimed LP SOS was a major nomination grabber with nods for Album of the Year and Best Progressive R&B album.
The singer–songwriter led this year with the most nominations — nine — on the strength of her popular singles.
Her song Kill Bill was nominated for Record and Song of the Year, plus Best R&B Performance.
Other artists in the running for top awards included Billie Eilish and Miley Cyrus.
Billie was nominated for six awards, including the top categories Song and Record of the Year, for her hit single What Was I Made For?
The sombre ballad was one of the singles from the acclaimed soundtrack album to the Margot Robbie–starring Barbie movie, which was co-written and directed by Greta Gerwig.

Despite being a pop powerhouse, Miley Cyrus has never won a Grammy Award, though her luck could change at the 2024 ceremony, where she is nominated for six awards.
She earned nods for Record and Song of the Year (for her song Flowers), as well as for Album of the Year for Endless Summer Vacation.
Other categories she was nominated in included Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album.
Another major nominee was the actress and singer–songwriter Olivia Rodrigo, who scored adoring reviews for her sophomore LP Guts.
Both the album and its single Vampire earned multiple major nominations.
Other major nominees include jazz crossover artist Jon Batiste, the trio Boygenius (made up of Phoebe Bridges, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker), Lana Del Rey, Janelle Monáe and Victoria Monét, who was nominated for Best New Artist and multiple awards for her album Jaguar II and its singles.
