Kelly Ripa revealed the one plastic surgery procedure she’s considering getting in the future.
The TV personality, 54, shared on Wednesday’s episode of her Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast that she’s interested in getting a ‘mini facelift.’
She made the confession during a candid conversation with her plastic surgeon Dr. David Rosenberg about the rise of body dysmorphia.
Describing herself as a ‘minimalist’ when it comes to cosmetics procedures, Ripa began by telling listeners that she gets Botox injections ‘three times a year.’
Ripa ‘waited until [she] was 39’ to start getting Botox in her face after initially using the injectable — which temporarily paralyzes muscles — to treat underarm sweating.
‘I used to get Botox just in my armpits to stop from sweating. One day I said, “Do you think I should put Botox in my face?” And [Dr. Rosenberg] looked at me and he goes, “I thought this day would never come,” the mother-of-three recalled.
‘And I was like “Oh my God, I needed Botox”…there’s a sweet spot.’

But the mother-of-three insisted that her Botox use is ‘super minimal’ and that she only has it injected in a few areas.
‘I’m a minimalist…I do the crow’s feet and I do the neck and that’s it. I do it now three times a year.’

Ripa is also a huge skincare advocate and often uses topical products to help minimize signs of aging.
As for more invasive cosmetic procedures, there is one that Ripa has been eyeing.
‘I’m interested in the mini facelift,’ she confessed.
A ‘mini facelift’ is the ‘pared-down adaptation’ of a traditional facelift and focuses ‘on a key area of the face rather than the full face while achieving a tighter, more youthful appearance,’ as per the American Society Of Plastic Surgeons.
There is also a ‘shorter scar and shorter downtime’ versus a regular facelift as, instead of tackling three areas of the face, it works to tighten up the jowls and neck.
If she does end up going under the knife in the future, Ripa made it clear that Dr. Rosenberg would be her go-to plastic surgeon.

‘He’s an artist…he makes actual art. Dr. Rosenberg is our Taylor Swift,’ she joked.
Along with her admiration for his work, Ripa is also deeply fond of Dr. Rosenberg’s dedication to his patients.
She said that he actually ‘sent [her] away’ during her first-time visit to his Beverly Hills office because he refused to do any ‘unnecessary stuff’ to her face.
In the podcast episode, Ripa and Dr. Rosenberg spoke about social media and smartphones have caused a concerning rise in low self-esteem amongst both teens and adults.
With lenses, lighting and filters distorting appearances, this has prompted people to seek out cosmetic procedures at a younger and younger ages.
‘Whatever’s closest to the lens looks bigger. That’s why we look like monsters. Steve Jobs really helped us plastic surgeons,’ Dr. Rosenberg remarked.
Ripa said she thinks people who get Botox and other injectables in their 20s are getting it ‘way too early.’
Ripa’s cosmetic confessions comes just weeks after she revealed the surprising way her body changed when she quit drinking alcohol nearly eight years ago.
On a recent Live With Kelly And Mark episode, which saw Andy Cohen fill in for Mark, the host revealed how eliminating liquor from her diet transformed her figure.
It came after Cohen, 56, mentioned he’s not drinking this month as he participates in ‘Dry January.’

Cohen noted about his experience, ‘Usually a little weight loss comes my way after [I stop drinking],’ but said that this time around it’s ‘not really happening.’
That’s when Kelly chimed in to say: ‘I told you when I quit drinking, I expected there to be this windfall of weight loss because everybody’s like, “Well, you are going to get too skinny, and you can’t afford to lose it.”‘
The mother-of-three went on to share: ‘I gained 12 pounds [and thought], “I don’t understand this magical weight loss that people apply.”‘
The petite blonde mused, ‘I think I just took to eating the sugars. Because apparently, alcohol is a lot of sugar, which you don’t really realize [because] when it goes in it tastes kind of bitter.’
She initially revealed that she cut out alcohol back in 2020, telling her morning show audience that she was nearly three years alcohol-free at the time.
The media personality was discussing a drop in wine sales in 2019 with her then-co-host Ryan Seacrest when she said, ‘They’re saying that Americans bought less wine last year.
‘It’s the first drop in a quarter of a century. Now, I believe this is because I quit drinking, that I caused this dip. I have influenced the market.’
Kelly clarified, ‘I’m not saying I’ve driven people [out of drinking alcohol], I’m saying I stopped buying wine and there’s a dip.’

Back in 2015, she told People magazine that she sticks to a mostly vegan diet and will occasionally do an alkaline diet to ‘cleanse’
The star continues to drink coffee, however, and on Wednesday’s episode she told Cohen her mug was filled with a latte.
Back in 2015, she told People magazine that she sticks to a mostly vegan diet and will occasionally do an alkaline diet to ‘cleanse.’
‘I like to drink coffee. I occasionally will have fish. The alkaline diet is primarily a vegan diet, but I like cream in my coffee. I like to have a glass of wine,’ she dished to the outlet.
And she added, ‘So I don’t adhere to it strictly, but when I do a cleanse, it will be seven days, and then I go back to my normal life. But my normal life, like I said, is not that different than the alkaline cleanse.’
