An estimated 300,000 Swifties are set to attend Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour shows in Sydney over the weekend and a law firm has issued a stern warning to fans.
Lily Boskovski from Slater and Gordon Lawyers stated that any big event can increase the risk of injury.
‘People who are injured in public can sometimes feel embarrassed or ashamed….and don’t take their injuries seriously which can lead to more severe injuries down the line’ she said in a press statement.
‘It is a venue’s responsibility to create a safe environment and make sure hazards like spilled drinks or hidden steps are clearly signed’.
Injury can also occur on public transport as a result of growing congestion.
