Jason Kelce has opened up on his wild Sunday in Buffalo, when he drank a shot from a bowling ball before ripping his shirt off during the Chiefs’ victory over the Bills.

The Eagles center stole the headlines on Sunday night, when he joined Taylor Swift in a VIP suite to watch brother Travis Kelce help Kansas City reach the AFC Championship game.

The elder Kelce was seen chugging beers and jumping out of the box as his brother scored two touchdowns at Highmark Stadium – where temperatures were as low as 24 degrees Fahrenheit.

Jason even lifted up young Swift fans to catch a glimpse of their idol. And, on Wednesday, the Eagles star lifted the lid on his boozy day in Buffalo which began with tailgating alongside Bills fans.

Speaking on the latest episode of the brothers’ New Heights podcast, he explained: ‘I got caught up in the shenanigans and thought: “I’ve got to have my shirt off at some point”

‘But I can’t take my shirt off in the box, who takes their shirt off in the box? So I’m like: this is what I’m gonna do. I’m going to take my shirt off and I’m jumping out of this box, and then I can be like my Buffalo Bills Mafia compadres.

‘This is how my mind works after 40 Miller Lites.’

Kelce was determined to sample a typical Sunday among the ‘legendary’ Bills Mafia and that meant drinking long before kick-off in Buffalo. He would have stripped down to his waist earlier on the day had the opportunity arisen.

‘I haven’t been to a lot of tailgates, the only other tailgate I’ve been to is Arrowhead,’ he continued. ‘It was an electric atmosphere with the Bills Mafia.’

Kelce continued: ‘I didn’t get outside until later. I wanted to go outside early and take my shirt off then and be out there because – I don’t know if I’m wrong – but I feel like taking your shirt off is like a Buffalo Bills thing.’

‘I wanted the full experience. I wanted to take everything off and be out with the fans, I don’t get to be outside very often – I only hit a couple of tailgates really walking into the stadium… but I did get to see (superfan) Pinto Ron’s tailgate with the bowling ball. I did a shot out of the bowling ball – no idea what that liquor was, I didn’t ask any questions!’

The game also offered Kelce a chance to blow off steam following a disappointing campaign with the Eagles, who lost in the Wild Card round.

‘We just got done with a very grueling season in Philadelphia, mentally and physically – particularly mentally, you’re just worn out at the end of something like that,’ he said.

‘It wears on you… you know there’s going to be a lot of change, you know that it affects a lot of people’s lives and that team, and this was an opportunity to go some place and forget all that. Have fun and root on your brother.

‘I haven’t had an opportunity to go to a game of yours for two years now because of the Super Bowl and other circumstances.’

Kelce reached out to former Bills players Ryan Fitzpatrick and Eric Wood, with Wood taking him to the Big Tree Inn, ‘an awesome bar right next to the stadium’.

‘They made me feel f******  awesome, at home, the fans, everything was just incredible,’ he said.
