Taylor Swift’s biggest fan Spencer Pratt appeared on The Viall Files podcast – hosted by Nick Viall and Natalie Joy – revealing that he reached out to the pop star after his $3M LA area home burned down in the fires earlier this month.
The former Hills star, 41, said he had emailed Taylor, 35, right after their home burned down on January 7, noting that he still had hope she would answer him.
‘I still haven’t given up. That was a big one night one. I was like like, “House just burned down, Taylor. I need you!,’ he revealed, as he sat alongside wife Heidi, 38, for the podcast appearance.
Spencer continued: ‘That was night one. This is the email. This one is getting read. If you don’t get a response, that’s also a response.’
The former reality star was still hopeful that Taylor would reply to his email, speculating that she could already ‘have something in the works’ for them.
‘I think she’s just gonna have Heidi be involved in the Reputation announcement somehow. Like, an Easter egg for everyone or something.’

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag's home is destroyed in Pacific Palisades fire
In April 2024, Taylor had sent Spencer and Heidi a handwritten note, along with official merchandise.
The note said: ‘To my fellow member of The Tortured Poets Department, here are some tokens of my gratitude for your support, from me, sincerely.’
Adding: ‘I hope you’ll welcome this album into your life (and vinyl collection!) with all my love, and tortured poetry.’
She signed it ‘Your friend, Taylor.’
Spencer has been a very vocal supporter of Taylor, even defending her against Kim Kardashian and Kanye West during their feud.
The public had turned against Taylor but Spencer vigorously defended the pop star, which in turn led to Taylor inviting Spencer and his family to see the Reputation Tour and meet her backstage.
They also attended her Eras tour.
Spencer and Heidi’s home was destroyed in the devastating Palisades fire.
The couple’s home was flattened to the ground after the raging fire took over the LA landscape and wreaked fiery havoc on January 7.
‘I still haven’t given up. That was a big one night one. I was like like, “House just burned down, Taylor. I need you!,’ he revealed, as he sat alongside wife Heidi for the podcast appearance.
Sources told TMZ that Spencer and Heidi’s home was completely destroyed after catching fire.
Luckily, the couple and their two sons were able to safely evacuate earlier in the day before the flames got too close.
They are parents to Gunner Stone, seven, and Ryker, two.
The only parts of the home still standing are the charred entry gate and the front portion of the home’s stucco perimeter wall.
Not only was the couple’s residence afflicted, but Spencer’s parents also lost their home to the fire.
Spencer shared a photo of the little that remained of his parent’s house to his Instagram Stories. ‘My parents house gone,’ he wrote along with a string of crying emojis.
The couple, who rose to fame on The Hills, were in state of disbelief and devastation as they opened up about the loss on Tik Tok.
In various Tik Toks, Heidi grew emotional about the blaze as she processed the stunning loss.
While sitting on the couch with one of her children, Heidi sobbed: ‘Sad our house is gone’ she cried, later saying, ‘Everything you worked so hard for…’
Her child served as a comforting distraction as he periodically touched her face, making her smile. ‘Thank you,’ she ended the video with a giggle.
In another video, Heidi assured everyone she and her family were safe while confirming the loss of their home.
‘While we ended up losing our house in the fire and thank God we are safe, so thank you to everyone who’s checking, thank you for all your prayers, thank you for your thoughts. It’s,’ she said, emotion growing on her face. ‘No words.’
Spencer attempted to cheer himself up on Wednesday with some bagels.

The reality alum, who was seen Tuesday watching the flames move towards his home, admitted he was in a state of shock and conceded his video was quite ‘unhinged.’
‘When your house burns down and you have nothing and your parents house burns down and they have nothing. There’s only one thing that can maybe make you feel better – a bag of bagels!’ he said gleefully.
‘Obviously I’m in shock and my brain’s not functioning, so think is the most unhinged post you’ve seen.’
