Donald Trump’s former communications director Anthony Scaramucci has revealed his favorite Taylor Swift song… and it’s about betrayal.

Scaramucci – known as ‘The Mooch’ during his White House days – appeared on The Happiness Project podcast with Zoe Larkin, who appears as her alter ego Bjorn Riche in the series.

In the satirical TikTok interview, Larkin, a Yale grad, asked him if he had ‘any advice for young professionals who want to be publicly humiliated.’

Scaramucci famously set the record for the shortest term as White House director after he held the position for just 10 days.

In a now infamous phone call with a New Yorker journalist, Scramaucci called the former White House Chief of Staff Reince Preibus a ‘f***ing paranoid schizophrenic’ and a ‘c*** blocker.’

The Long Island native, 61, asked Larkin, who’s based in New York City, if she believes in the concept of karma.

Then, he said that he can ‘prove’ it exists because his ‘life is a story of it.’

When Larkin asked if he relates to the Taylor Swift song Karma, he said he’d have to listen to the song, but revealed that he ‘really likes’ Swift’s song Cassandra, from the 2024 album The Tortured Poets Department.

When the Blank Space singer first released the song on TTPD, fans thought she might be subtly calling out Kim Kardashian.

In the chorus, Swift sings, ‘When the first stone’s thrown, they’re screaming / In the streets, there’s a raging riot / When it’s ‘Burn the b***h’, they’re shrieking / When the truth comes out, it’s quiet.’

Some fans wondered if the chorus was in reference to Kardashian sparking a social media firestorm when she shared a Snapchat of her then-husband Kanye West secretly recording a phone call with Swift.

At the time, furious Swifties filled the Skims founder’s social media profile’s comments sections with snake emojis to mark the betrayal.

Swift specifically referenced snakes in her song, singing, ‘So, they killed Cassandra first ’cause she feared the worst / And tried to tell the town / So, they filled my cell with snakes, I regret to say / Do you believe me now?’

‘What does Cassandra represent?’ Scaramucci quizzed Larkin during the interview.

‘She was a woman who was ignored but she was right,’ Larkin said.

‘The goddesses said to Cassandra, “You will have clairvoyance, you will be able to see the future, but you’ll also be cursed with that no one will believe you,”‘ Scaramucci explained.

The former financier went on to explain said Cassandra, a princess in Greek mythology who was cursed so her prophecies went unheard, told her father that thousands of ships were coming to destroy their city – but no one would listen to her.

Larkin interrupted the Celebrity Big Brother star to share her own ignored prophecy.

‘That’s sort of like when I told everyone that skinny jeans would come back and they didn’t believe me,’ Larkin said.

‘People don’t like the truth, see?’ Scaramucci answered, adding, ‘What Homer was trying to teach, through the fictional character of Cassandra, is that none of us like the truth.’

The clip quickly attracted attention on TikTok, with commenters saying, ‘The way Cassandra is such a deep cut this man is a STAN.’

‘Okay Scaramucci a real real Swiftie, that’s a deep cut,’ another approved.

This isn’t the first time the Mooch has gone viral for seemingly calling out the incoming president-elect.

A viral theory that Trump wears a girdle started in the days leading up to the election when Scaramucci gave a wide-ranging interview in September and touched on the subject.

When asked by the n Broadcasting Corporation interviewer, ‘Does Trump really wear a girdle?’ he replied, ‘On certain days, yes.’

‘He’s an image oriented guy, he’s a television entertainer,’ Scaramucci said.

Scaramucci previously alleged Trump ‘spends a lot of time on his hair,’ which is ‘sort of a weave thing that he does up there,’ has ‘a certain orange war paint that he wears,’ and that he wears lifts in his shoes.
