Taylor Swift and boyfriend Travis Kelce painted the town red – and black and white – – on New York City date nights this past weekend.
The couple took their matching outfits to the next level on Friday and Saturday. On Friday, the pop star wore a $5,500 wool-blend blazer with chainlink-inspired crystal embellishments at the hem by Stella McCartney over a plain black minidress, Sheertex tights with a diamond pattern and a pair of Versace booties.
She wore her golden locks in loose waves and rocked a bright red nail polish, which matched her signature scarlet pout.
Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, known for his quirky matching sets and streetwear-inspired looks, opted for a tan knit, black striped shirt, shiny gold pants and loafers.
The couple then wore complementary looks again on Saturday, with Taylor opting for a black minidress that stopped inches above her knees. She layered the ensemble with a long black Simkhai coat embroidered with silver embellishments, another signature red lip, and a pair of red-bottomed Louboutin heels.
But it was Kelce’s outfit that garnered much more attention – as the Chiefs star wore a red, denim jacket that was unbuttoned at the front as well as a pair of matching, loose-fitting trousers, which some suggested made the football player look like Santa Claus.

DailyMail.com can reveal that their matching outfits are no mere coincidence and that Travis, 35, has worked hard to up his fashion game since getting together with Taylor, 35, in July 2023.
Speaking to DailyMail.com, an insider said: ‘He dresses to impress her and her influence is undeniable. He strives to match her level of fashion perfection and is not afraid to let her pick out an outfit for him to wear on a night out on the town.
‘While it can be tricky at times since Travis loves baggy, oversized clothes, and Taylor gravitates toward form-fitting, high-fashion pieces, they manage to find a balance.
‘Travis knows that he doesn’t always nail it when he dresses on his own and that she may not vibe with it, so he is always down to let her take the lead on their outfits.’
The source continued: ‘Travis is a very macho bro, but he enjoys being a muse for her. Because of her, he has gotten into fashion because he knows how into it she is.’
Fans have taken notice, as Taylor and Travis’ coordinated looks have been pointed out on numerous Instagram fan sites during the time that they have been together.
‘This mutual fashion coordination started early in their relationship,’ the source said, adding: ‘Before heading out, they often discuss their outfits with a playful “Okay, babe, what are we wearing?”‘
And the couple doesn’t just use clothes to indicate the strength of their relationship on date nights, as Taylor also dresses intentionally while cheering her partner on.
The source added that Taylor also coordinates with Travis’s mom, Donna, to ‘ensure everything aligns’
Throughout their relationship, Taylor has been a staple at nearly every one of the Kansas City Chiefs’ home games. She frequently attends the games with Travis’ mother Donna Kelce, 72, as well as other family member and friends.
Last month, she and Travis’ mom matched in all red and black, a move that ‘touched’ the football player.
‘Travis has always been flattered at Taylor wearing his team’s colors when she attends his games and matching with his mom is something that he finds really touching,’ the source adds.
Following the recent end of her record-breaking, 21-month Eras Tour earlier this month, the Cruel Summer singer has a free and open schedule to do whatever she wants – including shopping online, which also happens to be a shared interest among the couple.
‘Travis loves to shop online for clothes with Taylor. Aside from his stylist, it is where he gets most of his clothes,’ the source revealed to DailyMail.com. ‘With an endless budget, their shopping experiences are even more enjoyable.’
Although the two were dressed to the nines while in the Big Apple all weekend, as DailyMail.com reported last week, Taylor has set up home base in Nashville, Tennessee, with Travis – who is only a 90-minute flight away – in mind.
She also has homes in Los Angeles and Rhode Island and has no intention of getting rid of her $50 million New York City abode.
A source previously said: ‘Ideally, she and Travis will live together in one home as they start a family. This is no different than any other couple with a family.
‘New York City is exciting, and Taylor will always consider this home. But she is growing, as is their relationship, and she feels that it is time for her to establish roots in the ground for her future.’

Rumors that the football player got down on one knee hit an all-time high after never-before-seen snaps from Swift’s Eras Tour-themed party were shared online.
In pictures from the party, which took place on December 13, eagled-eyed fans claimed that the hitmaker’s left ring finger looked ‘blurred,’ while others suggested she was purposely hiding her finger from view.
This immediately sparked a wild theory that Swift may have purposely ‘edited out’ an engagement ring, with sleuths coming to the conclusion that Swift was not ready to reveal news that her NFL star boyfriend, 35, had finally popped the question.
A source gave insight into what Taylor and Travis think of the engagement rumors, stating: ‘They find it extremely humorous that they have been engaged every day since they got together.
‘And he finds some of it hilarious because he knows how much the world wants this to happen. At times it can be overwhelming for him.
‘These engagement rumors started from day one and they do not know how they can even have a public engagement at this point.’
