Moments after Travis Kelce achieved the Kansas City Chiefs record for the most receiving touchdowns in a career, Taylor Swift broke her silence on the accomplishment by liking two Instagram posts congratulating her boyfriend.
Swift liked one post from the Chiefs account and one from New Heights, the podcast Travis and Jason Kelce co-host, giving regards to the massive accomplishment from her beau.
Swift was not at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh to watch history herself, opting to spend Christmas Day elsewhere.
Kelce surpassed the record held by fellow tight end Tony Gonzalez with 76, with his 77th score helping clinch the AFC’s No 1 seed in the postseason with the Chiefs now holding a 15-1 record.
To put a tiny damper on the record-breaking catch, Kelce was flagged for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for dunking the ball through the uprights, Gonzalez’s signature celebration.
Later on commentary, play-by-play commentator Ian Eagle said of the score, ‘I would say he was ready for it’ in reference to Swift’s song ‘…Ready For It?’ from 2017.

The 35-year-old also had his 1000th career catch in the game, with Kelce still being third all-time far behind Gonzalez and former Cowboys star Jason Witten on that list.
Gonzalez has still outpaced Kelce in that category with 1,325 career receptions. Witten is in between the Chiefs’ legends with 1,228 catches.
Swift’s next chance to see Kelce play live seemingly will not be for a few weeks.
The Chiefs finish the regular season on the road in Denver next Sunday, with Kelce figuring to have limited playing time with the AFC’s top seed already locked up.
Then as the No 1 seed, the Chiefs have a bye in the Wild Card round, placing the next Kansas City game she could attend on either January 18 or 19, with her beau’s team having home-field advantage throughout the postseason.
