Fans quickly descended on sports personality Skip Bayless after the former Undisputed host gave his honest take on Taylor Swift.
In the December 2 installment of The Skip Bayless Show, the 73-year-old and his wife, Ernestine, chatted about the pop star – with Skip declaring he is ‘not a fan’ of Swift.
Ernestine agreed with her husband while discussing Swift’s music. Skip took matters further when he talked about Swift’s looks.
‘Taylor Swift to me? Not hot,’ he said before noting, ‘But that’s just me. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.’
As a result, users took to the comment section to flame the ex-ESPN employee for his remarks.
‘Skip. Nobody cares what you and your wife think,’ one wrote. ‘To each his own. Yawn Worthy.’

‘You don’t have to like her music but to talk about her looks seems gross,’ another added.
‘I’d rather watch the Talk Tuah podcast than hear Skip and his wife’s takes on Taylor Swift,’ a third chimed in – referring to Haliey Welch’s program.
‘Skip I don’t think she’s reaching out to your demographic,’ a fourth suggested.
While Skip took the shallow path by digging at the 14-time Grammy winner’s appearance, Ernestine treaded the other way and complimented her looks, calling Swift ‘a cute girl.’
She did, however, note that Swift’s music is not her cup of tea. Instead, she noted similarities between Swift’s music and one of her favorite artists.
‘I know people like her,’ Ernestine said, ‘but she’s not on my turntable.’
‘I’d rather listen to Bonnie Raitt,’ she added. ‘That’s part of where her music came from. It’s very similar.’
Swift is in the final stretch of her record-breaking Eras Tour. The singer-songwriter continues to find success in her field while supporting NFL boyfriend Travis Kelce during his games.
The tour will wrap up after consecutive shows in Vancouver’s BC Place from December 6-8.
Bayless abruptly left FS1 in August without a proper sign-off on air after an episode of Undisputed. The controversial commentator spent eight years on the network, which included a seven-year run with Shannon Sharpe on the program.
