Erin Andrews had the perfect response when she clapped back at a male viewer who criticized her appearance.

The 46-year-old Fox Sports presenter decided to reply to a comment shared by a man on X which read: ‘Erin Andrews is too old now. Can visibly see the wrinkles on the HD. It’s been a great run for Erin, but it’s time for a younger blonde/brunette to take over.’

Re-sharing his post to her 2.5 million followers, Andrews – who claimed Taylor Swift has been ‘incredible’ for the NFL – wrote alongside it: ‘Don’t even think you need HD to see them. But appreciating you pointing them out bud!’ And her fans were quick to defend her.

One person replied: ‘Gosh, what a jerk. You are stunning,’ and a second said: ‘You’re doing great, Erin! Don’t give the haters your time.’

A third person commented: ‘What the hell is wrong with people. Erin is smart, articulate, and beautiful. One of the best in all of sports.’

A fourth fan agreed and wrote: ‘You’re aging gracefully and still beautiful. Your reporting is top notch, and that’s why matters.’

And a fifth person added: ‘You are the best to ever be on that sideline. & genuinely, more beautiful than ever before, too,’ and someone else said: ‘You are gorgeous!’

A different X user user wrote: ‘You are still beautiful, but more importantly, you are very, very good at your job. Those of us that know & love sports appreciate you for how good you are at your job and you have always been that way.

‘The other people watch sports for the politics and the fleeting pretty faces,’ they added.

Andrews is certainly no stranger to clapping back at trolls, and just a few weeks ago, she responded to a different fan on social media who insulted her appearance while she was working as a sideline reporter at a recent NFL game.

She was in attendance at the San Francisco 49ers’ game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on November 10 in Florida, and the weather was hot.

During an interview with 49ers tight end George Kittle, Andrews’ skin was seen glistening and she admitted it was ‘full blown sweat’ and that she was ‘in need of a shower.’

One fan replied and commented: ‘Hot flashing!’ But she was not impressed at all and reference the remark on her Calm Down podcast.

‘There was one yesterday where somebody said, “Erin Andrews, you look so great, you have this glow, what are you using?” And I said it’s called sweat, we were outside, it was 90 degrees on the field!’ she responded.

‘And some a*****e wrote “It’s hot flashes,”‘ Andrews began. ‘Shut the f*** up. Shut up. Shut up. It’s outside for five hours. Enough.’

The video itself, which was posted to the podcast’s official page had the caption ‘Menopause jokes aren’t funny,’ with an angry swearing emoji.

Last month, Erin replied to a different fan and admitted she was 'in need of a shower' when they commented on her sweaty 'glow' during a game

Andrews’ podcast cohost, fellow sports broadcaster Charissa Thompson, also looked disgusted with the social-media comment against her.

The presenter has worked for Fox since 2012 and later became the network’s top sideline reporter for NFL games.

She rose to prominence as a correspondent on the American cable sports channel ESPN after joining the network back in 2004.

Before that, she covered the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Thrashers, and Atlanta Hawks for the Turner South network as a studio host and reporter.
