Emma Stone shared a sweet moment with her fellow winner Cillian Murphy at the 96th Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
The actress, 35, won Best Actress at the ceremony, while Cillian, 47, scooped the coveted Best Actor gong.
After his win, Emma rushed to congratulate the actor and looked emotional as she grabbed him by the shoulders.
The Hollywood star beamed as she spoke to Cillian, seemingly praising his talents as she gesticulated wildly.
Cillian later admitted in the press room that he was ‘in a daze’ after his ‘meaningful’ first Oscar win for his lead role in Oppenheimer.

He told journalists: ‘I’m in a little bit of a daze, I’m very overwhelmed. I’m very humbled. I’m very grateful and you know, very proud to be Irish standing here today.
‘It’s really really meaningful to me. I don’t know if I said this in my speech, because I can’t remember what I said.
‘I did want to say that I think in Ireland we are really great at supporting artists and I think we need to continue to support artists and the next generation of actors and directors. I think that’s vitally important. That’s all I have to say.’
During his speech, Cillian told the star-studded room that he was ‘a very proud Irishman standing here tonight’ before dedicating his win to ‘peacemakers everywhere’.
‘We made a film about the man who created the atomic bomb, for better or worse we’re all living in Oppenheimer’s world so I’d like to dedicate this to the peacemakers everywhere,’ he concluded to applause.
He also paid a sweet tribute to his sons Malachy, 17, and Aran, 16, and wife Yvonne during his acceptance speech, who joined him at the Dolby Theatre.
Cillian gushed: ‘Yvonne McGuiness, my partner in life and art. My two boys, Malachy and Aran who are sitting up there. I love you so much.’
Meanwhile, Emma suffered a wardrobe malfunction on stage while accepting her second Best Actress Oscar for her leading role in Poor Things.

As she prepared to accept the trophy, the star could be seen holding the back of her dress, after her zipper busted down her back – following her win over Killers of the Flower Moon favourite Lily Gladstone.
‘My dress is broken,’ she began while fighting through tears. ‘I think it happened during I’m Just Ken.’
Once she gained her composure, Emma made a rare remark about her family as she thanked her parents and brother, her husband and daughter.
While speaking directly about her little girl, Louise Jean McCary, the proud mother-of-one gushed she was going to ‘be three in three days’ and turned her ‘world technicolour.’
‘I love you bigger than the whole sky,’ she concluded quoting the Taylor Swift track Bigger Than The Whole Sky from her 2022 album, Midnights.
As she exited the stage, Emma held the clasp on the back and jokingly requested the audience to refrain from looking ‘at the back’ of her gown.

The historical epic directed by Christopher Nolan swept the major categories with wins for Best Actor Cillian, Best Supporting Actor Robert Downey Jr. and Nolan – with the film also winning Best Picture.
In contrast, Barbie, who memorably won against Oppenheimer in the ‘Barbenheimer’ box office showdown over the summer, walked away with just one award for Best Original Song for What Was I Made For? by Billie Eilish and Finneas McConnell.
Downey Jr. jokingly thanked his ‘terrible childhood’ as he finally won an Oscar for his portrayal of Lewis Strauss, was delighted as he took to the stage – after host Jimmy Kimmel made a very awkward quip about his drug use.
The veteran actor – who has acted for over five decades – took home the Academy Award over stiff competition including Sterling K. Brown, American Fiction, Robert De Niro, Killers of the Flower Moon, Ryan Gosling, Barbie, and Mark Ruffalo, Poor Things.
Oppenheimer won seven awards in total – as well as Best Actor for Cillian Murphy, Best Supporting Actor, Best Director for Christopher Nolan, and Best Picture, it won Original Score for Ludwig Göransson – along with cinematography and achievement in film editing.
Al Pacino announced Oppenheimer as the Best Picture winner without bothering to name all the other nominees.
After the two films were released on the same day – July 21 – Barbenheimer gripped film fans who made an event out of going directly from the screening of one to the other.
Barbie was the highest-grossing movie of the year on both the domestic ($636.2 million) and worldwide ($1.445 billion) box office charts.

Oppenheimer took fifth place ($326.1 million) on the domestic box office charts and third place ($957.8 million) on the worldwide charts.
Meanwhile Emma, 35, powered through a wardrobe malfunction as she beat out an impressive field including favorite Lily Gladstone from Killers Of The Flower Moon in addition to Annette Bening, Nyad, Sandra Huller, Anatomy of a Fall, and Carey Mulligan, Maestro.
As Emma was walking on stage she signaled that there was something wrong with her dress as she quickly acknowledged it during her emotional acceptance speech.
She said: ‘Oh, boy. My dress is broken. I think it happened during I’m Just Ken. I’m pretty sure. Oh, boy, this is really — this is really overwhelming. Sorry, I’m — okay, my voice is also a little gone. Whatever.’
