And she proved her feud with Taylor was well and truly in the past as they cuddled up for a selfie backstage at the epic concert.
Katy was quick to take to Instagram to show support for Taylor as she shared several snaps and videos from the concert – including a sweet selfie of the pair of them.
Gushing over their friendship, Katy captioned the post: ‘Got to see an old friend shine tonight.’
The pair previously had a falling out with Taylor even penning her 2015 song Bad Blood about their dispute – which reportedly began when Katy apparently tried to hire a bunch of Taylor’s backup dancers and ‘sabotage an entire arena tour’.
Members of airport staff were seen fetching her belongings from the vehicle
However, Katy proved it was all water under the bridge as she filmed a video of Taylor performing the track and turned the camera on herself as she belted out the lyrics: ‘Now we got problems, and I don’t think we can solve ’em, you made a really deep cut and baby now we’ve got bad blood.’
Rita also took to her own Instagram page to share further snaps from the concert, including smiling pictures with Katy as they soaked up the atmosphere.
Rita captioned her Instagram post: ‘It’s fair to say Sydney always delivers – Or shall we say our TayTay @taylorswift always delivers! thank you for having us! Seeing my KP @katyperry made my heart to many queens to count! (sic).’
Katy was quick to comment on the post and simply wrote: ‘ily,’ which is short for ‘I love you’.
Despite fears that thunderstorms would see the concert cancelled after a temporary evacuation, Taylor put on a show-stopping performance for her 80,000 delighted fans.

Katy and Taylor fell out a decade ago, and TMZ reported that a feud had ignited when three of Taylor’s dancers allegedly quit to join Katy’s Prismatic World Tour.
Taylor released the single Bad Blood and added fuel to the fire, in a now infamous interview with Rolling Stone, when she admitted that the track was about a female musician – and ‘straight-up enemy’.

She cryptically told the publication at the time: ‘For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not.
‘She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, “Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?”
‘Then last year, the other star crossed a line. She did something so horrible, I was like, “Oh, we’re just straight-up enemies.” And it wasn’t even about a guy!
‘It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.’
After Taylor’s interview was published, Katy tweeted an alleged slant in Taylor’s direction and wrote: ‘Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing,’ referring to Rachel McAdams’ character in Mean Girls.

Then in May 2017, Katy seemingly retaliated to Taylor’s Bad Blood track with her own single Swish Swish, which was also reportedly about their feud.
However, a year later, Katy reached out to her former friend with an olive branch and a handwritten note, which was shared to Instagram by Taylor at the time.
It appeared to read: ‘I’ve being doing some reflecting on our miscommunications and though feelings between us …. would to clear the air… deeply sorry for,’ ending their six-year feud.
