Taylor Swift super fans will be racing to a themed Eras Tour high tea in over the next few weeks – and unlike the highly-coveted concert, everyone’s invited.

The Crown Sydney is hosting a special themed high tea to celebrate Taylor Swift’s world tour coming to Sydney and Melbourne in February.

Diners can enjoy a three-tiered high tea with sweet and savoury treats especially crafted to complement iconic Taylor Swift moments and lyrics from Thursday January 25.

The Teahouse venue will transform into every Swiftie’s paradise – from themed birdcages and endless photo ops to a continuous backing track of Swift’s greatest hits.

Crown is the presenting partner for the sold-out concert and is also offering diners tickets for Sydney’s February 26 concert.

Guests who abide by the ‘dine to win’ promotion will enter the draw to win A-reserve tickets to the tour, with 80 tickets still up for grabs until 21 February.

Those who book and dine on Sunday to Thursday at a’Mare, Woodcut, Nobu, Silks, Teahouse, TWR, 88 Noodle or CIRQ will go into the draw – as long as they reach the ‘minimum’ spend.

That’s $80pp at lunch, $120pp at dinner in participating restaurants, or $70pp at participating bars.

The promotion is only available to minimum groups of four people.

What’s on the menu at Crown Sydney’s Taylor Swift high tea? 

SAVOURY

Fireball – taro croquettes stuffed with black pepper squid and assorted vegetables

Flowers – lotus flower pastry stuffed scallop with wasabi mayo

You Need To Calm Down – whisky teriyaki wagyu in butterfly pea slider bun 

Fearless – sichuan miso baked ‘Glacier 51’ toothfish on kataifi pastry nest

SWEET

Red – fermented chocolate custard, cherry compote, buddha’s hand

Folklore – wattle seed genoise, pistachio monte, roasted orlays, matcha soil

Speak Now – almond sablé, cassis ganache, violet gel, blood lime

Lover – pink flamingo, rosella, lychee, raspberry malt crumbs

Reputation – burnt vanilla ash, elastic coffee, charcoal meringue

1989 – lavender ganache, yuzu, almond streusel

The Crown’s cafes and restaurants are famous for its delicious food, and the Eras high tea is sure to deliver.

Guests can expect squid croquettes, lotus flower pastries with wasabi mayo, whisky teriyaki wagyu sliders, and an elaborate pastry nest with sichuan miso baked ‘Glacier 51’ toothfish on kataifi.

Those with a sweet tooth are sure to enjoy the ‘Red’ fermented chocolate custard with cherry compote, as well as the ‘Folklore’ wattle seed genoise with pistachio monte, roasted orlays, and matcha soil. 

Other sweet treats include the ‘Speak Now’ almond sablé with blood lime, the ‘Lover’ pink flamingo with lychee and raspberry malt crumbs, and the ‘1989’ lavender ganache with yuzu and almond streusel. 

Last but not least, ‘Reputation’ fans can look forward to a decadent charcoal meringue with burnt vanilla ash and elastic coffee.
