Once again, CBS Sports on-air analyst Tony Romo appears to have jumped the gun on the relationship between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.
As rumors swirl that the pair have had such a strong relationship that marriage is on the cards, Romo once again referred to Swift as Kelce’s wife on the airwaves.
After a great catch and run by Kelce, the broadcast showed a replay of Swift celebrating his great play.
That’s when Romo remarked, ‘And his wife loves it, I mean, girlfriend.’
His partner, Jim Nantz, joked with Romo that he has ‘been down that road with that before’.

Kelce and Swift have a strong relationship – with Travis reportedly considering marriage
That’s a throwback to Romo’s playing days with the Dallas Cowboys when he was dating pop star Jessica Simpson.
That relationship lasted about a year and a half before Romo ended things one day before Simpson’s birthday when he suspected infidelity.
By all accounts, Kelce and Swift’s relationship has been going very strongly since it began earlier this year.
That includes rumors that Kelce has already asked Scott Swift – Taylor’s father – for permission to marry her.
