Travis Kelce has been given dating advice by retired NBA veteran Lamar Odom, as the Kansas City Chiefs tight end continues his relationship with Taylor Swift.
‘My advice would be to be strong and stay by her and be as close to her as possible,’ Odom told The Messenger.
‘There are going to be millions of women that want to taste what Taylor Swift is tasting and it can be overwhelming because we’re men,’ Odom continued. ‘He just has to be strong and stick by his girl and he’ll be alright.’
There are a few previous examples of sports stars in relationships with someone possibly even more famous than them, such as former baseball player David Justice and actress Halle Berry.
Odom was married to Khloe Kardashian from 2009-16 and made regular appearances on the reality television series ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ as well as the couple’s on spin-off ‘Khloe & Lamar.’

Kelce has been dating Taylor Swift since September, with his celebrity status skyrocketing
Swift has won 12 Grammys and is the biggest musical act on the planet outside of Kelce
Much like Kelce, Odom could be recognized by people that’ve never seen him play basketball because of the fame of a significant other.
Kardashian has participated in numerous television shows and has been in the public eye since she was a child because of her famous father, Robert Kardashian, who was best known as O.J. Simpson’s defense attorney during his murder trial.
Although Odom and Kardashian achieved a high level of celebrity status during their relationship, Swift’s status as the biggest musical act in the world makes interest in her personal life a premium investment for all fans.
Like Odom and Kardashian, Kelce has participated in an E! Network reality television series in the past, ‘Catching Kelce,’ which ran for one season in 2016.
Swift and Kelce have been dating since September, with the duo being spotted together several times since, including the tight end flying to Argentina to see some of the 12-time Grammy Award winners concerts last month.
