Jason Kelce insists he’s not out for Super Bowl revenge against brother Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs when his Philadelphia Eagles team go to Arrowhead on Monday night.
The blockbuster week 11 showdown between the NFL’s two best teams comes just nine months after they met in Super Bowl LVII in Arizona.
Travis and the Chiefs were victorious 38-35 that night but much of the pre-game hype surrounded the battle of the brothers.
Their stardom has only increased since thanks to Travis’ relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift and their hit podcast New Heights.
But Jason is adamant he is not motivated by the Eagles’ Super Bowl loss and wants to pick up his first win over his brother regardless.
Jason Kelce insists he’s not out for Super Bowl revenge against brother Travis on Monday night
‘I’m motivated to win the game. I don’t need the Super Bowl [loss] to motivate me to beat my brother, or [his former coach] Andy Reid,’ said Kelce.
‘I’ve never beaten them in my career. I’m more motivated maybe by that.
‘I don’t buy into Super Bowl revenge games. Each season is different . This team is not the same, that team is not the same.
‘Nothing that happens on Monday night is going to at all change or make anything different about what happened last year.’
Everything the Kelces touch is turning to gold at the moment. Their Christmas song reached No. 1 on the iTunes charts just a day after it was released and Jason appeared on the cover of People Magazine as a contender for Sexiest Man Alive.
‘It’s been a whirlwind. It kind of started last year with the podcast and it’s continually built up more and more from the Super Bowl and my brother’s love life and People magazine,’ Jason added.
‘It’s continued to get more and more and you just kind of take it one day at a time, I think you try and stay grounded with it, you try and be realistic about it and you try to be the same person you are.
‘It’s harder to go out. I went to the airport – that’s more difficult than it used to be. But outside of that, I think you just try and keep doing what you’ve been doing. Obviously something’s working.’

Monday night’s game promises to be a family affair after it emerged that Swift and Kelce’s parents are set to meet for the very first time.
Just a few months into their whirlwind romance, Swift and Kelce have already met each other’s parents; with the pop sensation seen alongside her new boyfriend’s mom and dad at recent Kansas City games.
Last week it was Travis’ turn to meet the family as the Chiefs tight end was spotted with Swift’s dad Scott at her concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
And now it appears the time has come for the new couple’s families to cross paths for the very first time.
According to ET, Swift and Kelce’s respective parents – Donna and Ed Kelce, and Andrea and Scott Swift – are both expected to attend the game at Arrowhead.
