Plenty of fans across the NFL are used to cheering on birds every Sunday but this week everybody will be desperate to see a chicken dance in the end zone.

That’s because Shake Shack have announced they’ll be giving away free Chicken Shacks across the country if a player’s celebration includes the chicken dance during any of Sunday’s games.

Fans will be able to cash in their free Chicken Shacks – if they spend at least $10 – for a week with the promo running until November 19.

The stunt was announced by ESPN reporter Adam Schefter on Monday morning and fans were instantly calling on their team’s star players to do the celebration.

San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle and Detroit Lions duo Amon-Ra St. Brown and Sam LaPorta were among those to be told to perform the stunt by fans.

It’s not the first time free food has been given away to celebrate a team or player’s performance in the NFL.

Earlier this year, McDonald’s of Michigan announced that after every Lions game this season an interception by Dan Campbell’s team would get fans a free Big Mac after buying one.

Last season, PDQ Restaurant was offering free food for every touchdown scored by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers home and away.

Dunkin’ decided to offer Eagles fans free coffee around Philadelphia to celebrate them reaching this year’s Super Bowl in Arizona.
