Selena, 31, returned the bonhomie, reposting the snapshot to her Insta Stories and adding her own gushing message: ‘Luh you bb’.

In 2022, Selena, who has suffered her own psychological problems in the past, helped launch a mental health website called Wondermind.

A few months ago Selena conducted a candid interview for the site with Camila, who has previously discussed her own anxiety.

In her new interview with Selena, Camila explained that she had recently ‘realized my anxiety manifests as obsessive-compulsive stuff.’

Camila elaborated: ‘It can look like asking the same question, like: “What did you mean by that? Are you sure you’re not mad at me? Wait, are you sure you’re not mad at me?” and doing that over and over.’

The Senorita singer revealed: ‘It used to happen so much more, getting stuck in these loops for a long time to the point where I felt like I could not get an answer I was satisfied with, so I would be obsessively going down this loop.’

Said she: ‘So for me, anxiety feels, mentally, like trying to get an answer, or a way of having control or certainty, which is hard because sometimes you just can’t.’

Camila opined: ‘You have to sit with it. It feels almost like – it sounds weird saying this because I don’t do drugs – but a bad trip. In the moment, everything feels dizzying and overwhelming and like you’re on this ride thinking, Just help me get off.

‘In my mind, it’s a loop, like obsessive-compulsive stuff. In my body, it’s a tightness, almost like I can’t move, like my hands are tied and everything is just tied up.’

Medication-wise, she said: ‘I have been taking an SSRI and that definitely has helped a lot. Especially while I was doing therapy, too.’

The Anyone songstress said: ‘I felt like I needed that to get to a place where I could go below the surface level loops and manifestations of it and get to the thought patterns and things that were really causing me anxiety.”

Her general opinion as regards treatment is that ‘medication can be really helpful and necessary’ and that it ‘it can save your life!’
